Transport and logistics - from Tallinn to Tartu and back
The plains generally land in the capital city of Estonia - Tallinn, that is located 180km from Tartu. The transport from Tallinn Airport to Tartu will be arranged by the organizers of the conference.
Lecture hall
The conference will be held in Institute of Technology of University of Tartu in Estonia (see the interactive map).
Accommodation
The participants will be accommadated in the Hostel Vaksali 4 in Tartu (see the interactive map). The hostel is approximately 2 km from the centre and also 2 km from the Institute of Technology. We will rent the whole house for the conference, so the participants do not have to make any additional arrangements..
Food, Life and everything
- The hostel has a public kitchen. Every morning we will serve you tea, coffee and buns.
- We will get our lunch in Institute of Technology, in next door to the lecture hall (at the expense of participants).
- Near the hostel there is stores for food (see map below), the hostel has small kitchen.
- The centre of Tartu with all its coffee bars, restaurants etc. is 15 minutes walk from the hostel.

Trasport and logistics - from hostel Vaksali 4 to lecture hall
We will organize a transport from Vaksali 4 to lecture hall every morning 20 minutes before the first talk.
If you are on your own you can:
- Take a 15-20 minutes walk;
- Call for a taxi (on your cell phone you can call 1200, 1300 or1555, 12-15EEK/km + 25-50EEK )
- From hostel to lecture hall - take the bus nr 5 at station "Pauluse" (appr. 700m, see map above). The station near the Institute of Technology is "Nooruse" (just look out of the windows and you will see the building). The bus ticket will cost you 13EEK, if boucht from the booth, 16EEK, if bought from the driver;
- From lecture hall to hostel - take the bus nr 3 at station "Tehnoloogiainstituut" and take a ride to the station "Pauluse" and just walk back along the Vaksali street.

We will organize a transport from Vaksali 4 to lecture hall every morning 20 minutes before the first talk.
If you are on your own you can:
- Take a 15-20 minutes walk;
- Call for a taxi (on your cell phone you can call 1200, 1300 or1555, 12-15EEK/km + 25-50EEK )
- The bus number 1 will take you to the nearest point to hotel and lecture hall, your station near the hotel is "Teaduspark" and near the lecture hall is "Soinaste".
The bus number 1 is also the best choice for the transport to centre of Tartu, the station "Kesklinn".

If you are on your own you can:
- Take a 15-20 minutes walk;
- Call for a taxi (on your cell phone you can call 1200, 1300 or1555, 12-15EEK/km + 25-50EEK )
- The direct buses from centre to hostel are 18 and 20, from hostel to centre 6. In the station "Pauluse" you can take the buses nr 1, 3, 5 from centre to the "Pauluse" take buses 1, 3, 8 The bus ticket will cost you 13EEK, if boucht from the booth, 16EEK, if bought from the driver;
Financial Arrangements
Attendance of this workshop is free for two representatives of each show, including accommodation for 6 nights. However, because of our limited budget, we are not able to reimburse traveling expenses. We are also not able to reimburse the accommodation of the extra members of the shows. The support for the enthausiastic people who still do not have a show will be decided case by case.
