Ka kihid on v\u00e4ga \u00f5hukesed &#8211; 200 nanomeetrit, materjalideks kuld ja r\u00e4nioksiid. Sellise &#8220;valguskaevu&#8221; energiaallikaks on kaevu suunatav elektronide kimp.
