The vibration frequencies of a thin homogeneous rod carrying a concentrated<br \/>\nmass as a function of the load\u2019s position and mass are exactly solved. The dynamic measurement<br \/>\nmethod of Young\u2019s modulus of the rods is presented within this theory.
