J. Phys.<br \/>\n36 [http:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1088\/0143-0807\/025016] 025016 ) where they examine the trajectory of a<br \/>\nparticle that is subjected to gravity and a linear air resistance plus the influence from the wind.<br \/>\nThey find by using the Lambert W function that the particle\u02bcs trajectory for a special angle, the<br \/>\ncritical angle ##IMG## [http:\/\/ej.iop.org\/images\/0143-0807\/36\/6\/068003\/ejp519096ieqn1.gif] {${theta<br \/>\n}_{{rm{C}}}$} , between the initial velocity and the horizontal is part of a straight line.
