Kasutaja sisestab Nanotech Innovations&#8217;i organometallilise eellahuse kahetsoonilisse ahju, kus tekivad raua katal\u00fcseerivad osakesed. Kui sade on katal\u00fcseeritud, moodustuvad kvartsist torukese pinnale nanotorud. Toru saab hiljem materjali kogumiseks seadmest eemaldada.
