Selles efektis on elektriv\u00e4li olnu alati homogeenne. Selline spiraal on homogeenses elektriv\u00e4ljas aga null.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Oma uurimuses viisid Rem ning kaasautor <strong>L. Bellaiche<\/strong> l\u00e4bi atomaarsed simulatsioonid, mis kinnitavad uue efekti olemasolu(seda oli varem juba teoorias ennustatud). Oma simulatsioonides asetasid nad magnetiliste omadustega vismut-raudoksiidi(<em>bismuth iron oxide<\/em>, BFO) nanot\u00e4pid spiraalsesse elektriv\u00e4lja. Kui nad proovisid kaardus elektriv\u00e4lja abil nanot\u00e4ppide magneetuvust kontrollida, siis leidsid nad, et protsess sisaldab m\u00f5ningaid huvitavaid vahepealseid olekuid. \u00dcks selline olek koosneb n\u00e4iteks kahest elektrikeerisest ning \u00fchest antikeerisest, kirjutab <a href=\"http:\/\/www.physorg.com\/news\/2011-09-physicists-magnetotoroidic-effect.html\">Physorg.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>,,Osa meie tulemustest on \u00fcpriski \u00fcllatav ja ootamatu,&#8221; s\u00f5nas Ren. ,,Kunagi varem pole keegi t\u00e4heldanud keeriste paari ja antikeerise kooseksisteerist ferroelektrikutes, kuigi seda tuntakse ferromagnetismi uurimisaladel kui \u00fclimalt huvitavat olekut.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Magnetotoroidilise efekti m\u00f5istmine v\u00f5imaldaks teadlastel kasutada elektriv\u00e4lju magnetismi paremaks kontrolliks, viies nii erinevate kasulike rakendusteni.
