Kujum\u00e4luga sulamid suudavad aga p\u00e4rast kindla temperatuurini soojendamist oma endise kuju taastada, kirjutab <a href=\"http:\/\/www.physorg.com\/news\/2011-11-metals-nanoscale.html\">Physorg.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Esmakordselt m\u00e4\u00e4rasid teadlased kindlaks nende temperatuuride absoluutv\u00e4\u00e4rtused, mille juures kujum\u00e4luga nanosf\u00e4\u00e4rid taas oma algse kuju taastavad, tehes l\u00e4bi n\u00f6 struktuurse faasi\u00fclemineku, mis s\u00f5ltub uuritavate materjalide suurusest. Selle tulemuse saamiseks viisid teadlased l\u00e4bi arvutisimulatsioone 4-17 nanomeetrise diameetriga nanoosakestest, mis olid valmistatud v\u00f5rdses koguses niklist ja titaanist.<\/p>\n<p>Senini on teadlaste p\u00fc\u00fcdlused struktuurse faasi\u00fclemineku temperatuuri m\u00e4\u00e4rata olnud peamiselt eksperimentaalsed. T\u00e4nu arvutimeetodile, mida tuntakse molekulaard\u00fcnaamilise simulatsiooni nime all, suutsid teadlased visualiseerida materjali siirdeprotsessi kogu \u00fclemineku jooksul. Leiti, et madala ja k\u00f5rge s\u00fcmmeetriaga struktuuride energiate erinevus nanoosakese pinnal kirjeldab kogu \u00fcleminekut.<\/p>\n<p>Enamik varasematest kujum\u00e4luga materjalide kohta tehtud uurimustest p\u00f5hinevad makroskoopilistel s\u00fcsteemidel ning neid on kasutatud n\u00e4iteks meditsiini(hambaklambrid, stentide) ja transpordi(\u00f5li temperatuuri reguleerivad seadmed kuulrongides) rakendustes.
