Klaaspirni l\u00e4bim\u00f5\u00f5t on ligikaudu 43 cm.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>andurid suunatakse mere p\u00f5hja, et tuvastada kosmilist p\u00e4ritolu neutriinode p\u00f5hjustatud Chernenkovi kiirgust. Neutriinod on peaaegu olematu massiga osakesed, mis ei oma elektrilaengut ja osalevad vaid n\u00f5rgas tuumainteraktsioonis. N\u00f5rk tuumainteraktsioon on v\u00e4ikese m\u00f5juraadiusega, mist\u00f5ttu v\u00f5ib neutriino ainet, n\u00e4iteks planeet Maad, suhteliselt vabalt l\u00e4bida.
