ELHASPA nimeline lennuk on eriline veel sellegi poolest, et ta v\u00f5ib mitu n\u00e4dalat maandumata \u00f5hus p\u00fcsida ning kuna lennuk\u00f5rgus on \u00fcle 15 km ei h\u00e4iri ta reisilennuliiklust.<br \/>\nAsi pole siiski selles, et tublidel Eesti teadusajakirjanikel oleks DLR-i p\u00e4ikeselennuk t\u00e4helepanematusest m\u00e4rkamata j\u00e4\u00e4nud. Projekt pole k\u00fcll salastatud, aga arendust\u00f6\u00f6d on seni tehtud \u00fcsna vaikselt. <!--more-->Projekti \u00fche p\u00f5hitegija, DLR-i insener Marc Schwarzbachi, s\u00f5nul on lennuki arendus plaanip\u00e4raselt kulgenud, aga pressiteade on viibinud, sest arenduses osalevad ettev\u00f5tted vaidlevad alles, mida lennukiga edasi teha. Kas minna kohe pressiteatega avalikkuse ette v\u00f5i arendada vaikselt \u201eimerelv\u201c enne t\u00e4iuslikkuseni.<br \/>\nP\u00e4ikeseenergial t\u00f6\u00f6tavaid lennukeid on tegelikult ehitatud varemgi, kuid enamus neist suudab \u00f5hus p\u00fcsida vaid l\u00fchikest aega (m\u00f5ni kuni m\u00f5nik\u00fcmmend tundi) ja lennuk\u00f5rguski on neil m\u00e4rksa madalam kui 15 km. NASA Helios suutis t\u00f5usta peaaegu 30 km k\u00f5rgusele, aga tema arendamiseks kulutati \u00fcle 15 miljoni dollari. Ma ei ole kursis DLR-i p\u00e4ikeselennuki t\u00e4pse eelarvega, aga teades seda arendava meeskonna v\u00e4iksust ja projekti seni \u00fcsna l\u00fchikest kestust, v\u00f5ib arvata, et\u00a0 ELHASPA peale on kulunud kordades v\u00e4hem raha.<br \/>\nKas satelliitidele on juba l\u00e4hiajal tulemas kordades odavam alternatiiv?
