Optimiseerimiseks v\u00f5ib planaarseid andureid eri viisidel kombineerida, vaheliti v\u00f5i risti, aga t\u00e4it efektiivsust taoline meetod ei anna. Lisaks on planaarsete seadmete tootmine kallis ja komplitseeritud. Kanada teadlased avastasid aga majanduslikult otstarbeka viisi autotoestuvate nanokomposiitsete kahe- v\u00f5i kolmedimensionaalsete surveandurite tootmiseks. Meetodi aluseks on UV kiirguse toimel l\u00e4bi viidav otsekirjutusprotsess (direct-write).
