Seej\u00e4rel j\u00e4\u00e4dvustati veetilkade k\u00fclmumisest tingitud kujumuutus.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00f6\u00f6 avaldati AIP (<em>American Institute of Physics<\/em>) teadusajakirjas Physics of Fluids. Ligikaudu 4 millimeetrise l\u00e4bim\u00f5\u00f5duga tilgad j\u00e4\u00e4tusid katse tingimustes 20 sekundiga. J\u00e4\u00e4tumise viimases etapis moodustus tilgale terav j\u00e4\u00e4tipp, mida on v\u00f5imalik joonistelt n\u00e4ha. Vesi on ainulaadne, sest paisub k\u00fclmumisel. Seet\u00f5ttu pole efekt paljude teiste vedelikega j\u00e4lgitav. J\u00e4\u00e4 vertikaalisihiline paisumine kombinatsioonis pindpinevusteguri p\u00f5hjustatud j\u00e4\u00e4tumata pinna kumerdumisega kulmineerubki teravtipulise j\u00e4\u00e4tilga moodustumisega.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e4\u00e4tilga tipp t\u00f5mbab elektrilise vastastikm\u00f5ju t\u00f5ttu \u00f5hust veeauru, paljuski sarnaselt piksevardale. Elektrilaengul on omadus koonduda juhi geomeetria teravikesse. Ideaalselt teraval juhi otsal on laengu tihedus l\u00f5pmatu. Sf\u00e4\u00e4ri pinnal on aga laengu jaotus \u00fchtlane. Veeaur koguneb j\u00e4\u00e4teravikule ning moodustab puusarnase kristallstruktuuri. Katse pildil on n\u00e4ha, et struktuure kasvab v\u00e4hemal m\u00e4\u00e4ral ka j\u00e4\u00e4tilga k\u00fclgedel.<\/p>\n<p>Teadlaste s\u00f5nul eksisteerib vastupidine efektki. N\u00e4iteks juhtub see teravatipuliste ahjuk\u00fcpsetistega, kasv\u00f5i kartuliviiludega.
