Magamatus v\u00f5ib alandada t\u00f6\u00f6v\u00f5imet, p\u00e4rssida m\u00e4lutegevust ja p\u00f5hjustada haigusi. Seet\u00f5ttu v\u00f5etakse planeet Maa \u00fcmber orbiteeriva 113 miljardit eurot maksva kosmosejaama pardal und t\u00f5siselt. Vastusena kosmonautide insomniaepideemiale valmistub Ameerika kosmoseagentuur NASA (<em>National Aeronautics and Space Administration<\/em>) ISS (<em>International Space Station<\/em>) suurjaamas siset\u00f6\u00f6deks. Tulemuseks on ligi poolte astronautide insomnia ja sellega kaasnev tablettravi. Unerohi on k\u00fcll kiire abivahend, ent v\u00f5ib p\u00f5hjustada s\u00f5ltuvust ning p\u00e4rssida astronautide v\u00f5imet h\u00e4da korral kiirelt \u00fcles \u00e4rgata. Magamata ja tablettravi saavad astronaudid ei ole ideaalmeeskond.<\/p>\n<p>NASA uus valguslahendus kasutab \u00e4ra inimaju kostet maisele valgusts\u00fcklile. Ameerika kosmoseagentuur kulutab ISS varustamisele LED valgustitega 8,4 miljardit eurot. Kosmosejaama valgustusprojekt peaks valmis saama aastaks 2016. Valguslahendus simuleerib loodust: hommikul sinaka, p\u00e4eval valkja ja \u00f5htul punaka tooniga.<\/p>\n<p>Maal ravitakse sarnaste meetoditega talvemasendust. Valgusterapeudid kasutavad SAD (<em>Seasonal Affective Disorder<\/em>) s\u00fcndroomi raviks p\u00e4evavalguse simulaatoreid. Sinakas valgus petab aju kahandama und soodustava hormooni melatoniini taset ning t\u00f5stma energia tootmisega seotud melanopsiini hulka. Punastel LED-idel on vastupidine toime. Need p\u00f5hjustavad uimasust. NASA loodab rakendada samu p\u00f5him\u00f5tteid.<\/p>\n<p>Kosmosejaama valgustite v\u00e4rvust ja tugevust saab juhtida nii maapealsest keskusest kui kosmoses. Valgusseade paindlikkus soodustab \u00fcleminekut uneajast t\u00f6\u00f6aega.<\/p>\n<p>LED-ide toime parema keskendumisv\u00f5imega ISS elanike tekitamiseks on veel h\u00fcpoteetiline. Tulemusi on raske otseselt m\u00f5\u00f5ta, ent uuritavate katsealuswte puudust l\u00e4hiajal ette n\u00e4ha ei ole.
