Esiteks enamikku h\u00e4htavat galaktilist ainet hoidev ning galaktikale kuju andev ketas. Teiseks ebakorrap\u00e4rane ning h\u00f5re ketast \u00fcmbritsev halo ja l\u00f5ppeks galaktika tuum, mille moodustab suur hulk vanu t\u00e4hti ja nendega seonduvat ainet.<\/p>\n<p>Ebat\u00fc\u00fcpiline IC 2233 on hea n\u00e4ide \u00fcli\u00f5hukesest spiraalgalaktikast, mille l\u00e4bim\u00f5\u00f5t on paksusest v\u00e4hemalt k\u00fcmme korda suurem. Need galaktikad koosnevad servast vaadates p\u00f5hiliselt kettast. K\u00f5rvaltvaade annab spiraalgalaktikate uurimiseks informatiivselt huvitava perspektiivi. Sellise t\u00fc\u00fcbi kosmoseobjekti olulisteks vaatlemisparameetriteks on madal eredus ning pea olematu m\u00f5hn.<\/p>\n<p>Pildil n\u00e4ha olev sinine v\u00e4rv annab aimdust galaktika spiraalsusest, sest avaldab noorte kuumade ja eredate t\u00e4htede olemasolu, mis s\u00fcnnivad t\u00e4htedevahelisest tolmust ja vanade t\u00e4htede j\u00e4\u00e4nustest. Lisaks puudub vastupidiselt statistilist\u00fc\u00fcpilistele spiraalgalaktikatele IC 2233-l h\u00e4stin\u00e4htav tolmusf\u00e4\u00e4r. Pildil on helendavat tolmusf\u00e4\u00e4ri \u00f5rnalt n\u00e4ha galaktika tasandi keskme \u00fclal ja all.<\/p>\n<p>IC 2233 asub Ilvese t\u00e4htkujus.
