Lennuki projekteerisid Southamptoni \u00dclikooli lennukiinsenerid Jim Scalan ja Andy Keane. Projekti eesm\u00e4rk oli algusest peale valmistada \u00f5hus\u00f5iduk, mis patrullib iseseisvalt Inglismaa, Hollandi, Belgia ja Prantsusmaa rannikut.<\/p>\n<p>Lennukil on kokkuhoidlik bensiinimootor, mis tarbib viie tunni lennu jooksul seitse liitrit k\u00fctust. 2Seas tippkiirus on 100 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>2Seas projekt p\u00f5hineb maailma esimesel prinditud droonil, <em>Southamton University Laser Sintered Aircraft<\/em> (SUSLA). Et 2Seas drooni tiibade ulatus on 4 meetrit, tuli tugevuse lisamiseks tiibu s\u00fcsinikfiibriga toestada. Lennuki prinditud osised on n\u00e4iteks tiiva p\u00f5histruktuur, k\u00fctusepaak ning mootori kinnitus.<\/p>\n<p>2Seas on l\u00e4binud mitmeid lennukatseid, sealjuures ka tormise ilmaga. J\u00e4rgmistel kuudel katsed j\u00e4tkuvad, et selgitada lennuki kandev\u00f5ime. \u201eNendegi katsete \u00f5nnestumisel v\u00f5ib lennuk 2015. aastal v\u00f5i varemgi teenistusse minna,\u201c \u00fctles projekti k\u00f5neisik Jeff Scanlan.
