Missiooni eesm\u00e4rgiks oli koguda kaugelt asteroidilt tolmuterakesi, mille t\u00e4htsus oleks v\u00f5rreldav NASA Stardusti projektiga, mil koguti tolmu m\u00f6\u00f6dalendavalt komeedilt, et heita valgust P\u00e4ikeses\u00fcsteemi kujunemise algusaegadele. Kuid Hayabusa tolmukogumis mehhanism hakkas asteroidil t\u00f5rkuma. Foto: JAXA<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Teadlased ei ole veel mitmekihilist kapslit t\u00e4ielikult avanud, ent leidsid, et see sisaldab rohkem kui k\u00fcmme silmaga n\u00e4htavaid k\u00fcbet, kinnitas esmasp\u00e4eval JAXA teadlane <strong>Toshifumi Mukai<\/strong>. Mukai t\u00f5i v\u00e4lja samas ka v\u00f5imaluse, et tegu v\u00f5ib-olla hoopis kosmilise tolmuga, kuid v\u00e4ljendas selle suhtes s\u00fcgavaid kahtlusi.  Elektronmikroskoobi abil avastati veel kaks veelgi v\u00e4iksemat osakest, mis on veidi suuremad kui k\u00fcmme mikromeetrit.<\/p>\n<p>Agentuur loodab, et v\u00e4hemalt \u00fcks tolmun\u00e4idis on p\u00e4rit kartulikujulisele asteroidilt Itokawa, kuhu Hayabusa 2005. aasta keskpaigas maandus. &#8220;Me alustasime Hayabusa n\u00e4idistekonteineri avamist 24. juunil ning kinnitasime, et see sisaldab tibatillukesi osakesi,&#8221; kirjutas JAXA pressiteade.  <\/p>\n<p>Ent samas lisas see, et on veel ebaselge, kas osakesed on p\u00e4rit Maalt v\u00f5i asteroidilt. Arvatakse, et kogutud materjali anal\u00fc\u00fcsimine v\u00f5tab mitmeid kuid. Hayabusa projektijuht <strong>Junichiro Kawaguchi<\/strong> lisas, et teadlased arvavad, et osa sellest moodustavad Maalt p\u00e4rit terakesed. &#8220;Kuid t\u00e4htis on see, et see ei olnud t\u00fchi&#8230; Ma olen r\u00f5\u00f5mus, et on v\u00f5imalus, et v\u00e4hemalt osa sellest on asteroidilt,&#8221; \u00fctles ta pressikonverentsil.<\/p>\n<p>Hayabusa missiooni on juba algusest saadik kummitanud ebaedu.
