The TLS includes activities<br \/>\nabout recognition of wind symbols, assignment of wind direction and wind speed on a weather map and<br \/>\nidentification of wind characteristics in a weather forecast. Sixty PET capabilities and<br \/>\ndifficulties in understanding weather maps were investigated, using inquiry-based learning<br \/>\nactivities. The results show that most PET became more capable of reading weather maps and assigning<br \/>\nwind direction and speed on them.
