Planetaarudukogud\u00a0koosnevad t\u00e4htede j\u00e4\u00e4nustest, mis vananedes oma v\u00e4limistest kihtidest gaase ja tolmu minema heidavad. Kompaktne kuum t\u00e4ht v\u00f5i <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/White_dwarf\">valge k\u00e4\u00e4bus <\/a>udukogu keskel valgustab ning soojendab neid \u00e4ra heidetud aine pilvi.<\/p>\n<p>Buckyballid avastatigi nendest pilvedest ning ilmselt peegeldavad nad \u00fcht l\u00fchikest etappi t\u00e4he elueast, kus see heidab maha suure koguse s\u00fcsinikurikast ainet. Teadlased kasutasid planetaarudukogult tuleva infrapunavalguse anal\u00fc\u00fcsimiseks Spitzeri spektroskoopiaseadet ning v\u00f5rdlesid saadud spektrijooni buckyballide omadega.
