For the measurements of the magnetic field, we<br \/>\ndevelop a Gaussmeter based on a commercial Hall effect sensor coupled to an Arduino microprocessor.<br \/>\nOur results show an asymmetric distribution of the magnetic field intensity measured at a certain<br \/>\ndistance along a plane parallel to the ring surface. The behavior of the magnetic field intensity<br \/>\nwith distance along the ring axis is closely related to what is expected for a toroid.
