We find the locus formed by the apices of the<br \/>\nprojectile trajectories, and discuss its implementation for the motion of a particle on an inclined<br \/>\nplane in presence of Coulomb friction. The range and time of flight are obtained numerically, and we<br \/>\nfind that the optimal launching angle is smaller than in the drag-free case.
