See teeb ESA-st ainsa kosmoseagentuuri, kes juba nelja (Marss, Kuu, Saturn ja Veenus) meie P\u00e4ikeses\u00fcsteemi taevakeha korraga uurib.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>See kosmoseod\u00fcsseia sai alguse 9. novembril 2005. Reis Veenusele kestis 153 p\u00e4eva ning selle aja jooksul l\u00e4bis sond 400 miljonit kilomeetrit. Selleks, et uurimissond planeedi orbiidile j\u00e4\u00e4ks, v\u00e4hendati ta kiirust 29 000 km\/h-lt 25 000 km\/h -ni ning j\u00e4rgmised neli n\u00e4dalat man\u00f6\u00f6verdab sond \u00fcmber planeedi eesm\u00e4rgiga saavutada 24h pikkune polaarorbiit (tiirleb ringiratast \u00fcle pooluste) 66 000 kuni 250 km k\u00f5rgusel. Pildid tehti 206 452 km k\u00f5rgusel ja ESA uurija Dr Hakan Svedhem \u00fctles, et ei oodanud juba sellisel k\u00f5rgusel kuuma ja d\u00fcnaamilise Veenuse pinna n\u00e4gemist. M\u00f5\u00f5teseadmed, mis talle paigaldati, on \u00fched parimad, kuna Mars-Expressi ja Rosetta (67P\/Churyumov-Gerasimenko komeedi uurimissond) andsid piisavalt teavet t\u00e4iendavateks arendusteks.
