Physicumi seminarid on m\u00f5eldud f\u00fc\u00fcsikute ja materjaliteadlaste, aga ka teiste loodus- ja t\u00e4ppisteadlaste laiale ringile (alates bakalaureuse astme \u00fcli\u00f5pilastest) ning p\u00fc\u00fcavad avada seda, mis mingis valdkonnas on parasjagu oluline ja uudne v\u00f5i kuhu teatud uurimissuund on t\u00e4naseks v\u00e4lja j\u00f5udnud. Seekordne seminar toimub inglise keeles, k\u00f5ik huvilised on teretulnud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THE DAWN OF BLACK HOLE ASTRONOMY<\/strong><br><em>how to observe something completely dark and why is it so exciting?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 10 April 2019 the international Event Horizon Telescope collaboration revealed the first image of a black hole. The seminar aims to give a concise scientific background of this major discovery and highlight some future perspectives.
