Jonathan Home&#8217;i grupis. Praegu t\u00f6\u00f6tab ta ettev\u00f5ttes Oxford Ionics kvantarhitektina.\u00a0 Nagu ta ise selle kohta \u00fctleb: &#8220;Mida kvantarhitekt teeb &#8211; ma koostan ettev\u00f5tte arendatavate kvantarvutite terviklahendust f\u00fc\u00fcsiku prillide l\u00e4bi. P\u00f5hiv\u00e4ljundiks on koostada iga uue kvantarvuti versiooni jaoks k\u00e4siraamat, mis kirjeldab selle ehitust, v\u00f5imekust, piiranguid jne. Otsusekohti on palju, neid tuleb vaagida ja valikuid p\u00f5hjendada: alates sellest, et valida milliseid aatomeid (ja milliseid \u00fcleminekuid) kasutada ja kuidas neid kontrollida, kuidas arvutada ja m\u00f5\u00f5ta erinevate kontrolloperatsioonide veam\u00e4\u00e4rasid, mis n\u00f5uded on laseritele ja elektroonikale, kui v\u00f5imsad peavad olema kr\u00fcostaadid ja millist vaakumit on tarvis, mis suunas tulevad laserkiired ja kui h\u00e4sti peavad magnetv\u00e4ljad varjestatud olema jne.&#8221; Jutuks tulid ka valikud, mida Roland on oma karj\u00e4\u00e4ri \u00fcles ehitamisel on teinud.
