Meetod on k&uuml;llalt t&auml;pne, kuid palju lihtsam senistest r&ouml;ntgenkiirte peegeldumist kasutatavatest.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Katsete k&auml;igus uuriti kilesid l&auml;bim&otilde;&otilde;duga 31 kuni 233 nm. Kile pandi veepinnale ujuma ning selle keskele tilgutati veepiisk raadiusega alla 1mm. Kapilaarj&otilde;ud tilga ja kile vahel tekitasid kiirekujuliselt tilga keskmest l&auml;htuvaid kortse, mida uurima asuti. <\/p>\n<p>Selgus, et kortsude arv on heas s&otilde;ltuvuses tilga suurusest ja kile paksusest. Suured tilgad tekitasi<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" src=\"\/pildid\/tilk.jpg\" \/>d rohkem kortse, samuti tekkis &otilde;hematele kiledele rohkem kortse. Seega tuleb kile paksuse m&auml;&auml;ramiseks lihtsalt m&otilde;&otilde;ta tilga diameeter ja kortsud &uuml;le lugeda.<\/p>\n<p>Edasi hakkas uurimisr&uuml;hm muutma kile koostist, muutes sellega materjali j&auml;ikust. Uurijad m&otilde;&otilde;tsid kortsude keskmise pikkuse ja tekid kindlaks, et see on funktsioon kile j&auml;ikusest ja paksusest. Et aga paksuse saab leida kortsude arvu abil on ka&nbsp;j&auml;ikus arvutatav. <\/p>\n<p>Tulemuseks on meetod, mille abil saab kile parameetreid m&auml;&auml;rata lihtsalt optilise mikroskoobi abil, mis teeb t&ouml;&ouml; palju odavamaks.
