Nii et kui \u00fclijuhtivast elektromagnetist magnetit eemale t\u00f5mmata (magnetv\u00e4li v\u00e4heneb), siis voolud sellise elektromagneti sees suurenevad, magnetv\u00e4li suureneb ja eemalduvat magnetit \u00fcritatakse tugevamini tagasi t\u00f5mmata kohta, kust see eemaldumist alustas. Nii seisavad SCMaglev rongid renni keskel justkui iseenesest.<\/p>\n<p>Ka edasi t\u00f5mbavad ronge elektromagnetid, nagu kujutatud k\u00f5ige alumisel joonisel. Selleks kasutatakse teist komplekti elektromagneteid renni seintes.
