Electronic Magnetization of a Quantum Point Contact Measured by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

Nuclear magnetic moments inside a quantum point contact (QPC) can be polarized by a DC current. This polarization influences the QPC conductance at $0.7*2e^2/h$, where a conductance plateau has previously been observed.
